Born in the small city of Azua, Dominican Republic Hector Noboa would be faced with the biggest transition
of his life when his mother relocated the family to Little Havana at the age of eight. Soon after in 1993 a homemade mixtape
featuring what are now considered to be legendary names such as Eddie Dee, Vico C, Mexicano and Benny Blanco was given to
him by friend and changed his life forever. Before the 90 minute tape was over Black Labol had been born, he knew from that
moment on that his destiny was to be fulfilled on stage with a microphone held firmly in his grasp. His career has been a
story defined by his determination and a resolve that would accept neither excuses nor failure. That he has remained in the
game in the face of so many obstacles let alone achieve what he has up to this point in the absence of a major deal or label
and the marketing resources which comes along with it are simply a testament to his relentless drive, work ethic and self
sufficiency.
